Everyone loves cake!
What better way to celebrate that first birthday milestone than with a special cake smash! A cake smash is always an occasion to remember for you and your little one. With custom decor and a beautiful bespoke giant cupcake included, all you need to do is find the perfect outfit for them to get messy in!
We first capture a gorgeous portrait of your beautiful baby with their birthday decor. Here they can have fun with their balloons, sing and clap their hands, giving us their best smiles. After this, it is time for cake! We present your gorgeous (soon to be) one year old with a cake just for them. They will have lots of fun tucking in, trying the butter cream and playing with the different textures.
I will snap away, capturing the wonderful memories of this occasion. Focusing on those brilliant facial expressions and cakey hands and toes!
My style is clean and subtle, capturing the beauty of your baby and the wonderful faces of excitement and joy that a cake smash can bring them. My sets, although minimalistic, are full of colour that will make for the most beautiful and timeless birthday images.
These shoots are great to have done prior to their birthday, so you can use the images for invites, decorations or have them on display. This also makes for a great 1st birthday gift – their first professional photos as a one year old.
Prior to your session, we will discuss colour schemes and the design of your special, bespoke giant cupcake! We will chat through the decor and I will show you some beautiful cakes for inspiration. My incredible cake baker is always super accommodating, so we can try to work round dietary requirements (if any).
On the day I recommend making sure that your baby has had a nap before the session and is bright-eyed and ready for their sweet treat! When you arrive you can make yourselves comfortable and get your little one ready for their close up! I recommend bringing two outfits with you, their best one for their fancy birthday portrait and one we don’t mind getting covered in cake for when the messy fun begins.
The session lasts around 1 hour from start to finish but as always, is led by your baby. We will let them get as messy as they like as they enjoy their very own giant cupcake. They will let us know when they have had enough! Don’t worry if they don’t smash it all (it just means there is plenty for you to enjoy with a cuppa later!).
Once the session is over, you can get your baby ready for the journey home and I will take care of boxing up the rest of the cake for you to take with you. No need to worry about the clean up, that is what I am here for!

This includes the 1 hour session, custom decor, a bespoke giant cupcake for your baby to smash and my time spent preparing your gallery. This does not include any images.
Within 7 working days after your session, I will send you a link to view your gallery. You can then purchase an image package most suited to your budget and number of images you would like from your gallery. Below you can find the pricing of the image packages.
Once you have purchased your image package and chosen your images, I will return the final retouched digital images to you within 14 working days. Your prints will be ordered the same day you receive your digital images and posted to you when I have received and quality checked them. Please note that printed items arrival time are subject to postal service.
The session fee is to be taken when you book. This is a non-refundable deposit to secure your session.

My spacious studio is located in the stunning business park positioned on East Gores Farm. As you approach the studio, you are greeted by the beautiful scenery.
