The tiny hands and feet, perfect little rolls, gorgeous eyelashes, and beautiful sleepy faces. Capturing your newborn in those early weeks before they begin changing each and every day is a must. I love nothing more than creating beautiful, timeless images of your newborn, to cherish always. My style is pure, simple, natural and most important to me, we always put the baby first.
Using neutral colours as my staple backdrops and blankets, I have a less is more, minimalistic approach with props and outfits. I focus on the beauty of your baby and all those tiny details that you will want to remember forever.
When should I book in my newborn photography session?
You can book in for this session from your 20-week scan. I only book a certain amount of newborn photoshoots each month to ensure I can fit everyone in (as we know our precious newborn babies can sometimes decide to join us a little early or late).
Newborn shoots are best done between 6-14 days old, this ensures that they are still sleepy and super supple (which although my poses are very natural, is ideal for newborn photography) and that we can really capture those early days. They change so fast! If you are finding me a little later after their arrival, this is not a problem. There are still plenty of gorgeous moments we can capture with your beautiful baby.
How should I prepare for our newborn shoot?
Prior to your session, we will discuss any particular images in my portfolio that you love and any family images you would like me to capture. If your baby is a little older than the recommended newborn age (6-14 days old), we can discuss their routine to work out the best time for the shoot.
On the day, I ask for you to try your best to keep your baby awake for a minimum of 1 hour prior to leaving for the session, then, before you make your journey here, please give them a nice full feed. This will ensure your baby is content, has a full tummy and is super tired, ready to sleep through their shoot whilst we work our magic on getting those beautiful sleepy shots!
How long are the photo sessions?
The session usually lasts 2-3 hours, so there is plenty of time and no pressure. Once you arrive you can hand your little one over into my safe hands and sit back and relax. I will take care of undressing them down to their nappy, ready for their shoot. I please ask for you to bring your baby’s usual comforts such as extra bottles and a dummy, this will ensure we keep them settled throughout.
Family Photos
Once the newborn shot is complete, we will move on to family photos. No matter how camera shy you might be, you will cherish a family photo with you and your newborn forever. No need to be shy, I am super relaxed and will guide you on how to pose whilst we capture beautiful photos for you to cherish. I love a natural style family photo, so just take in this special moment with your newborn. Neutral coloured clothing always makes for the best photographs, avoiding chunky jewellery or accessories to ensure these images remain timeless memories.

Weekday Session Fee – £99
Weekend Session Fee – £149
This price is for the 2-3 hour session, use of our newborn wardrobe/blankets and my time spent preparing your gallery. This does not include any images.
Within 7 working days after your session, I will send you a link to view your gallery. You can then purchase an image package most suited to your budget and number of images you would like from your gallery. Below you can find the pricing of the image packages.
Once you have purchased your image package and chosen your images, I will return the final retouched digital images to you within 14 working days. Your prints will be ordered the same day you receive your digital images and posted to you when I have received and quality checked them. Please note that printed items arrival time are subject to postal service.
The session fee is to be taken when you book. This is a non-refundable deposit to secure your session.

After the shoot, you will receive your gallery of timeless and clean photographs to choose from, once you have chosen and received your final images back, you will have the perfect memories to share with family and friends and announce your beautiful new arrival.

The photographs are taken in a relaxed studio environment. I always ensure that a very safe and gentle approach is taken to so that the baby is comfortable and content throughout the photoshoot. A calm environment is key, in order to make the experience a magical one. You can sit back, relax and rest assured that this baby-led shoot will be a stress free experience for you all.
